Brooklyn Family Sangha

Second Sunday of each month from 3:30–5pm.

The Brooklyn Family Sitting Group provides an opportunity for families to experience sitting together in the vipassana tradition as well as to introduce the Dharma to the next generation.

The first half of the meeting starts with training in meditation and a review of basic Dharma principles for all family members. In the second half of the meeting, the children continue with Dharma stories and thematically based games with a teacher in a separate room, as the adults sit for a half hour, followed by discussion with everyone.

For location and more information, call Gary Singer at 718-783-1561 (please call only for the Family Sangha; for other information call NYI directly)
