NYI Book Club

We will read fiction that can be discussed from the Buddhist point of view, rather than non-fiction books that are Dharma focused.

Our first meeting will be held at the center on Sunday, June 2 from 3–5pm.

I hope we have a lively and respectful discussion of the following book: Breath: A Novel by Tim Winton. To see more about this book, click
here.

This book is described as “A brilliant literary Buddhist parable, intentionally or not,” and is available as hardcover, paperback, and e-book.

I’ve also created an online forum where we can start the discussion beforehand. Feel free to post thoughts, questions or insights. You can register to join the forum
here.

I will be leading the club, please RSVP to larry@longstoryshort.com
The space is being offered by donation. Whatever you can offer is appreciated.

Hope to see you soon. Namaste.
