Online: Skillful Pleasure
with Peter Doobinin
Thursdays, June 3rd-24th, 2021 | 6:00pm – 7:30pm ET
In his new book Skillful Pleasure, Peter Doobinin describes the Buddha’s path for developing skillful pleasure. Pleasure is a necessary component of human life. But what is our relationship to it? Is it skillful?
As the Buddha discovered, if we learn to establish a skillful relationship to pleasure, dharma practice will thrive, and we’ll know greater happiness in life.
In this four-week course, we’ll learn about skillful pleasure, what it is, how to cultivate it, and why there’s such great benefit in doing so.
The course will include meditation, teaching, discussion, and various practice activities. All are welcome to attend.
For those who attended the three-hour class on ‘Skillful Pleasure’ in March, this four-week course will provide an opportunity to practice and deepen in understanding of the teachings.
