Online: The Four Noble Truths – A Four Week Course
with Gary Singer
Wednesdays, January 12th – February 2nd, 2022 | 10:00am – 12:00pm ET
The teachings of the Four Noble Truths—which are about suffering and the cessation of suffering—are both simple and profound and contain the essence of the Buddha’s way: the beginning, middle, and end of the path. For people new to Buddhism, this class offers an introduction to this cornerstone of the teachings. For those already acquainted with the teachings, it offers an opportunity to revisit them, perhaps more deeply.
Over the course of four weeks, we’ll study portions of the Buddha’s teaching, as well as contemporary writings on the Four Noble Truths, to help us bring the teachings into our everyday lives.
Both new and experienced meditators are warmly welcomed. We ask that you commit to a regular meditation practice and to bring your courage, compassion and patience to the adventure.
