In-Person: New York Insight Volunteer Training and Orientation to New Space

Join us for a warm and welcoming volunteer orientation at New York Insight! Whether you’re a current volunteer, considering returning, or new to volunteering with us, we invite you to our first in-person orientation in our new home on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.
This special afternoon will give you a chance to explore our new space and discover how you can contribute to our community. We’ll discuss what it means to volunteer at NYI, how to sign up for events, and explore other opportunities to offer Dana through service.
Event Volunteers play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere for our events. By volunteering, you will not only support our community but also gain a deeper connection with New York Insight. Our center thrives on the generosity of volunteers like you.
Volunteers typically arrive an hour before the event and stay for 30 minutes afterward. Duties include preparing the space, welcoming and registering guests, orienting visiting teachers, and helping to clean up. In return, you can attend the events you volunteer for free.

To attend this orientation, you should have participated in at least one NYI event. If you haven’t already, please fill out our Volunteer Inquiry form.
