So many of us are loving and wise with our words and actions towards our friends, family, and the world—and yet we struggle to offer ourselves the same kindness. You can learn to include yourself in your circle of care. Join meditation teacher and author Kimberly Brown for this special program, where we’ll explore the roots of self-criticism, self-judgment, shame, and blame, and develop tools to open our hearts to ourselves with patience, compassion, and openness.

In this six-week class, Kimberly will teach you to bring loving attention to your body, mind, and heart. You’ll practice lovingkindness and mindfulness meditation to help ease self-criticism, cultivate self-compassion, and nurture a kind and accepting attitude towards your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. With guided exercises and group discussions, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the power and wisdom of treating yourself with gentleness, understanding, and care.

All are welcome to join this class series. No experience with meditation or Buddhism is necessary to participate in this class. Please note, in-person class size is limited to 15 students, please register early if interested.
