Online: Earthworm Practice – Do the Reconnective Work!

While old narratives and expectations are crumbling within and around us, we are called to navigate the world differently. The timeless and liberating core-teachings of the Buddha, combined with Earth-based practices, are capable of providing the precious medicine needed to meet the challenges of our time.

Let’s wake up together to a citizenship with the more-than-human world, instead of getting lost in the repetitive dramas of the human public sphere. Diving deeper and sensing our deep embeddedness in the biosphere, we can learn to engage a regenerative intelligence beyond the intellect. By working with ancient and new ways of experiencing embodied existence, we are consciously re-rooting in the web of life, bringing about an expanded perception of who we are and opening into our next steps on the path.

Coming home to where we are is the starting point for this journey of maturation, towards a more comprehensive understanding of what it means to be human: with other people, with the more-than-human world and within the web of life – locally and on one planet.

During this daylong we will explore our fundamental interrelation with the more-than-human world through reflections, guided meditations, chanting and Q&A. There will be an opportunity for inquiry in small break-out groups or by silent journaling on your own. If you are sitting inside, please bring a potted plant ally or sit at an open window with a tree or other plant relative in view.
