Just as gold is refined through fire, the heart is purified through adversity. And there are practices that support the heart opening. Sharing the interconnection of the world through love and compassion and celebration, are truly great blessings.
Join us for a daylong renewal as we move beyond mindfulness, contemplating key passages in the Buddhist suttas that awaken us to the necessity of cultivating a joy. Not only should we heed what NOT to do, we should know what TO do! Buddha, again and again, exhorted us to arouse ardor, devotion, and reverence as a means of reaching the supreme goal of liberation.
