Online: Finding Calm in a Crisis

with Bodhipaksa

Wednesdays, October 26th – November 16th, 2022 | 7:00pm – 8:30pm ET

Life can be challenging, and we need to learn to draw on all the tools at our disposal for taking care of our own well-being and for being helpful to others.

Join Bodhipaksa on this four-evening course as we tap into the practical wisdom of the Buddhist meditation tradition so that we can learn to:

  • Trigger calm and relaxation and bring more rest and ease into our lives.
  • Develop the confidence to remain present with ourselves, even when our experience is challenging.
  • Offer ourselves warmth, support, and encouragement as we go through life.
  • Find the strength to connect compassionately with others, in ways that leave us feeling buoyed up rather than dragged down.

These simple practices can help us dramatically change our experience of life, so that we become islands of calm and reassurance for the world, bringing peace not just to ourselves, but to others as well.

This course is open to experienced practitioners and complete newcomers.
No prior meditation experience is necessary.
