In-Person Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor

The dumpster fire of life rages on: from the extraordinary politics of our times, to the ordinary insults of being alive in a human body, it’s easy to get thrown off balance. But Buddhist teachings and practices are here to keep us grounded, engaged, and heart-centered.

In this special evening discussion with nico hase, author of How Not to Be a Hot Mess: A Buddhist Survival Guide for Modern Life, we will explore teachings and practices that contribute to balance and wholeheartedness. We will discuss how community helps us thrive in the midst of difficulty. And we will learn meditation techniques that can keep us steady in the spin of modern life.

Join us for an engaging evening of stories, reflections, and conversations about how Buddhist teachings and practices contribute to our balance and wholeheartedness in the face of life’s challenges.

The evening discussion will be followed by a signing of nico’s book How Not to Be a Hot Mess: A Buddhist Survival Guide for Modern Life.
