In-Person and Online: What Does Our Community Need Now? A Special Gathering for the LGBTQ2+ Community

with Leslie Booker, Elaine Retholtz, and LGBTQIA2+ Leaders at New York Insight

Monday, February 24th, 2025 | 6:30pm-8:30pm

In-Person Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, on the 12th Floor

At this special gathering, we’ll come together as LGBTQIA2+ meditators to reflect on what’s present for us as individuals and as a community in this moment in time, and how NYIMC and Insight Out Refuge can truly become a refuge for us. Through meditation and discussion, we’ll explore how our practice can support us—individually and collectively—amid the challenges and possibilities we face.

Whether you are new to meditation or a long-time practitioner, this is a space to connect, share, and be in community with others who understand the intersection of practice and identity. All LGBTQIA2+ practitioners are welcome, across Buddhist traditions and beyond.

Join us as we support one another in practice, deepen our connections, and explore ways to cultivate resilience, joy, and meaningful action together.

RSVP is not required for online attendance.
