These days, we hear a lot about “being in the body.” But as a Buddhist, what might this really mean?

If we don’t learn to stay present in our body without clinging to our experience, we risk reinforcing attachment to our physical self, which can leave us feeling frustrated and stuck in our meditation practice.

In this two-hour online event, teacher Bob Stahl will guide us through a unique Buddhist practice known as the Contemplation of the 32 Parts of the Body Meditation. Together, we’ll work on understanding the true nature of the body, reflect on its impermanence, and discuss how to think about our body as made up of four primary elements: solidity, liquidity motion, and temperature.

This practice is recommended for those seeking new ways to relate to their bodies.

Anyone who is curious about this special meditation practice is welcome to attend.
