Online: Maranasati – The Profound Practice of Mindfulness of Mortality

with Nikki Mirghafori

Wednesdays, May 4th – May 25th, 2022 | 7:00pm – 8:30pm ET

We “know” our time on this earth is limited, yet most of us make daily and long-term choices that only make sense in light of eternity. The way to live more aligned with our values is to bring the scarcity of our time to our awareness. How would our priorities shift if we truly embraced our impermanence, instead of fearfully running away from it? Would we waste less time? Love more deeply? Let go with more ease? Forgive ourselves and others? Have more freedom? Is it possible to prepare for a peaceful final goodbye, be it ours or our loved ones? The liberating practice of mindfulness of mortality bestows these gifts, and more.

Join us for this four week dive into the teachings and practices of maranasati (marana=death, sati=mindfulness) to help us live more fully and die fearlessly. This online course includes lectures, guided meditations, discussions, Q/A periods, and optional homework reflection assignments. Please be advised that small group exercises (through breakout rooms on Zoom) are an integral part of our exploration and learning process.
