Online: Mind Knowing Mind – Embracing Radical Acceptance Through the Practice of Insight
with Lama Justin von Bujdoss
Sunday, October 25th, 2020 | 10:00am – 1:00pm ET
In this special online program, Lama Justin von Bujdoss will give a concise, contemporary teaching on a set of six meditation instructions at the core of Vajrayana insight practices known as Mahamudra, or the Great Seal.
This practice is a blend of shamatha and a tantric form of vipassana aimed at directly experiencing mind as it arises. These instructions reveal how to build a meditation practice if you are new to meditation. They are also valuable tools for the more experienced meditator. More than this, these instructions also offer us the chance to bring our experience of emotion, our relationship to our biases and judgements, as well as the way we relate consciously and unconsciously to racism, patriarchy and rigid personal narratives to meditation practice. Join us for an exciting exploration of meditation that we can apply both on and off the cushion.
