Online: Mindful Eating and Consuming – Habit Change for Self-Care

Do you eat when you are stressed out, bored or sad? Have you tried to moderate your scrolling or other habits without success? Are you preoccupied with trying to control your cravings?
So many people find themselves stuck in unwanted and/or uncomfortable relationships with food, weight, body image, devices and their schedules. Mindfulness-Based Habit Change combines the tools of mindfulness practice and behavioral science to fundamentally change how we relate to our eating and other consuming behaviors.
Join Laurence Magro and Nancy Logue, psychotherapists and certified mindfulness educators on an exploration of habits of mind and heart around eating and consuming. Discover an innovative and compassionate approach to develop a balanced relationship to these everyday activities.

Through individual and group exercises, guided meditations and contemplations, dialogue and inquiry, as well as mindful movement practices, you will learn to
* Apply an evidence-based model of sustainable habit change·
* Learn how habit loops arise and can be modified
* Practice a variety of mind/body tools devised by psychiatrist and addiction expert Judson Brewer MD to address unhelpful habits and ride-out cravings
* Cultivate positive habits of mind and body
This workshop is open to all
Highly recommended: Participants get a discounted subscription to the Eat Right Now app to use as a textbook with a multitude of resources: information, exercises, tools, and an online community.
