Now Online: Tibetan Mindfulness – Beyond the Breath

with Lama Surya Das

Saturday, June 27th, 2020 | 1:00pm – 5:00pm ET

Experience an afternoon immersion with renowned bestselling author, and spiritual elder, Lama Surya Das. Coined the “American Lama” by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Surya Das is an authorized lama and lineage holder in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

Through mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and welcomed Q & A, feel what it is to go deep within and become acquainted with your true nature. Learn experiential tools for dealing with distraction and interruption, a way to work with desire and aversion, of wanting and not wanting, and a means of dealing with the difficult emotions and life situations we are all currently experiencing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With Tibetan mindfulness, Lama Surya Das teaches practices to know the mind, to quiet the mind and to cultivate natural openness. Through this rich mindfulness practice, we learn to become aware, allowing us to better understand and transform anxiety, fear, anger, and inner doubt.

Both new and experienced meditators are welcome.
