Path to Freedom in Relationships: An Insight Dialogue Daylong
with Bart van Melik
Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 | 10am – 5pm
The Buddhist teachings identify craving as a primary cause of suffering, and letting go as the path to freedom. In this daylong retreat, we will have the unique chance to explore how craving and letting go manifest in relationships with other human beings.
The day will revolve around Insight Dialogue practice, a meditation form that creates a safe, structured environment to investigate the heart and mind in interpersonal contexts.
The day will include periods of silent, individual meditation and movement, as well as relational practices that invite participants into dyads or larger groups to explore their present-moment experience in relationship and reflect on contemplation together.
