Online: The Precepts & Paramis – A Half-Day Retreat on Bringing Practice Alive through Ethics and Daily Practice
with Amanda Gilbert
Saturday, October 8th, 2022 | 2:00pm – 5:00pm ET
How we live our lives can be an expression of our practice. The Buddha’s teachings offer us a path and framework on how to apply practice in a direct way to all the ways we show up and behave.
Author, meditation teacher and professor of mindfulness, Amanda Gilbert, will be sharing two of the Buddha’s essential teachings on how to live our practice and let our practice live through us – The Paramitas (The Ten Perfections) and The Precepts.
In this half-day retreat you will learn how the Paramis and the Precepts can be guiding principles and allies as you develop your practice of ethics in daily life.
This event is open to all and no prior meditation experience is necessary.
