In-Person and Online: Lifeboat in the Storm – A Post-Election Retreat

with David Grogan

Saturday, November 9th, 2024 from 10:00am - 4:00pm ET

Join us for a day of restorative practice and open-hearted fellowship away from the incessant drumbeat of news and cacophonous views clamoring for attention on your electronic devices. During the mini-retreat we will explore foundational meditation practices for finding poise and balance in our bodies in the midst of turbulent times. The invitation will be to slow down and cultivate an attitude of curiosity and care to whatever might arise moment by moment.

In-Person and Online: Practicing Hope – An Embodied, Heart-Based Retreat

with Leslie Booker and Dara Silverman

Saturday, November 23rd & Sunday, November 24th, 2024 from 10:00am - 4:00pm ETT

In this two-day non-residential retreat, we’ll explore “hope” as an embodied practice in a tumultuous world. Join long-time friends and collaborators Booker and Dara as they weave together somatic (body-based) practices and the heart practices of the Buddha’s Brahmaviharas (expressions of love). Together we’ll cultivate these capacities in ourselves, and nurture a fuller understanding of the body and heart.
